Tillu woke up midway and started causing trouble for the thieves. He moved around, made noises, and confused them so much that they ended up arguing with each other. Frustrated and scared, they abandoned the basket and ran away. Tillu’s cleverness saved the day once again!
The Second Story: Tillu Taught a Donkey to Read
The second story is just as hilarious and imaginative. Tillu, known in the village as a smart and educated boy, was challenged by a teacher to teach a donkey how to read. Accepting the challenge, Tillu devised an ingenious plan.
He placed food between the pages of a book, training the donkey to flip the pages with its tongue to find the treats. Over time, the donkey learned to flip pages as if reading a book.
On the day of the big demonstration, the entire village gathered to witness the “reading donkey.” Tillu placed the book in front of the donkey, which started flipping pages just as it had been trained. However, when it didn’t find any food, it began braying loudly. Tillu cleverly claimed that the donkey was still learning and could only pronounce two letters, “D” and “C,” which were part of its braying sounds. The villagers, realizing they had been tricked, scolded Tillu for his antics and left.

اس عنوان کےتحت فیروز سنز نےبچوں کےلئے ایک باتصویرکتاب شائع کی، جس میں دومختصرکہانیاں ہیں۔ پہلی کہانی کاعنوان اوپردیاگیاہے، جب کہ دوسری کہانی کا نام “ٹلّو نےگدھے کوپڑھناسکھایا” ہے۔ ان دونوں کہانیوں کامرکزی کردار ٹِلّو نامی لڑکا ہے۔ یہ کتاب انگریزی میں شائع ہونےوالی کامکس کی طرز پرہے۔ اس میں تصویری خاکوں کےذریعے کہانی کی وضاحت کی گئی ہے۔ یہاں میں ان دونوں مزیدارکہانیوں کاخلاصہ پیش کررہاہوں جو اس ویڈیومیں پڑھ کرسنائی گئی ہیں۔
پہلی کہانی میں ٹلّو ایک میلے میں پہنچاہے۔ گاؤں اورقصبات میں لگنےوالےمیلوں میں بڑی رونق ہوتی ہے۔ انواع اقسام کے کھانوں اورمختلف چیزوں کےاسٹال لگے ہوتے ہیں، سو وہاں بھی تھے۔ ٹلو نےوہاں خوب کھایا، پیا۔ گھومتے پھرتے جب وہ تھک گیا، توآرام کرنے کی غرض سے پھلوں کی ایک بڑی سی خالی ٹوکری میں جابیٹھا۔ وہاں اسے اونگھ آگئی۔
جب رات ہوئی تومیلہ ختم ہوا اور سب لوگ چلےگئے۔ کسی کی بھی نظر ٹوکری میں سوتے ہوئے ٹلّو پرنہ پڑی۔ چوں کہ اگلے دن پھر میلہ لگناتھا، اس لئے سب اپناسامان وہیں چھوڑگئے۔ رات کوچورآئے اور اندھیرے میں پھلوں کی ٹوکری کوبھراہواسمجھ کر چوری کرکےلےجانےلگے۔ راستے میں ٹلّو نےانہیں خوب تنگ کیا۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ آپس میں لڑپڑے اورٹوکراچھوڑکر بھاگ گئے۔
دوسری کہانی ایک گدھے کوپڑھنا سکھانےکےبارے میں ہے۔ ٹلّو کو گاؤں والے بہت پڑھالکھاسمجھتے تھے۔ ایک استاد نےاسے چیلنج دیاکہ وہ گدھے کوپڑھناسکھائے۔ ٹلّو نےاس کام کےلئے اسے پیشگی رقم فراہم کردی گئی۔ اس نےگدھے کو اس طرح تربیت دی کہ وہ اپنا دانہ کھانےکےلئے کتاب کےصفحات کو الٹتاجائے۔یعنی وہ ان صفحات کےبیچ میں اس کا دانہ رکھ دیتا اورگدھا اپنی زبان کےذریعے صفحہ پلٹ کر اسے کھالیتا۔
پھرایک دن اس نےگاؤں والوں کوپڑھائی میں اپنی مہارت دکھانےکےلئے بلالیا۔ اس نےگدھے کےسامنےکتاب رکھی اورگدھے نے اس کےصفحات پلٹنا شروع کئے۔ جب اسے ان صفحات کےدرمیان اپنا کھانانظر نہ آیا تواس نے چلّانا اوراپنی مخصوص آوازیں نکالنا شروع کیں۔ ٹلو نےگاأں والوں سے کہاکہ اس جانور کےسیکھنےکی رفتار بہت سست ہے۔ اس نےابھی تک صرف دولفظ “ڈی” اور”سی” سیکھے ہیں، جنہیں وہ کتاب سےپڑھ کرسنارہاہے۔ اورآپ انہیں سن سکتے ہیں۔ گاؤں والے اس کی چالاکی سمجھ گئے اوراسے برابھلا کہتے ہوئے چلے گئے۔
