پھر بہادرشاہ ظفر بادشاہ کےیہاں انہیں تاریخ نویسی کی ملازمت مل گئی۔ بچوں کواپنے بڑوں سے متعارف کرانے کایہ سلسلہ ڈاکٹر اسلم فرخی کی مزید کتابوں میں بھی ملتاہے
